Mary Ellert is a parapro at Carson Elementary for a 2nd grade classroom. She started with a goal of buying 22 blankets for all the students in her classroom as a gift before Winter Break. She put out a request to her friends, and before she knew it, she had enough to buy blankets for all 80 2nd graders! But she didn’t stop there, and yesterday she reached her goal of getting funds to buy blankets for ALL 690 STUDENTS AT CARSON.
She is simply amazing and one of the most unselfish, giving people I am privileged to know. I hope we can give her some kudos for this awesome act of love and service to all the students at Carson.
