Dr. Isidore Rudnick, Fine Arts Curriculum Manager, Curriculum Department — I Care, I Collaborate, I Continuously Improve, I Commit to Success

"Dr. Rudnick has worked tirelessly to begin to rebuild the Arts in Cincinnati Public Schools over the last 3 years (and counting!). During this time, he has made countless personal sacrifices to ensure the students - and teachers and principals - have what they need, schlepping and delivering, as well as filling in on occasion. His number one priority is making sure the teachers succeed in the programs they're trying to implement, and the students succeed in their learning and education. If any other content or department asks for assistance in securing programs or making contacts, he is more than happy to assist, and always does so with enthusiasm, rarely asking for return favors. His desire and willingness to collaborate is over abundant. He is constantly looking for ways to improve not only himself through personal endeavors in composing and arranging music that has begun distribution through a local vendor, but also creating programs and partnerships for the betterment of the students with little or no cost to them (The Jazz Academy, David Liebmann workshops) that include in-person interactions with world-renown artists, and collaborations with new foundational grants, as well as working to showcase student talents through the Community Collage showcase. Dr. Rudnick, through it all, is committing to the success of CPS and its students in a holistic way, daily, and it is definitely beginning to show with students becoming excited about the arts, and new programs being requested by the students as the year progresses."

JoRena helps each and every one of us with a smile and cheer - all the time! Everything that she does for our team, she does with excellence. It's rare that you would find a mistake she has made, and her memory for details is unparalleled. I honestly don't know what we would do without her, and this is a sentiment that I hear again and again from our team. She deserves to be recognized for her excellent work, the way she tirelessly, yet joyfully, helps others, and for her 30 plus years in CPS supporting staff, students, and families.
